To achieve this, we are forming an Advisory Panel and inviting passionate individuals to join us in driving positive change.

What is the Advisory Panel?

The Insight PBS Quality Service Advisory Panel is a collaborative group of contributors and stakeholders. It is designed to:

  • Seek advice, guidance, and lived experience to improve our services and projects.
  • Ensure all voices are heard, and our approach aligns with the needs of the people we support.
  • Address gaps or challenges and ensure that high standards of care are maintained.

    Who are we looking for?

    We are seeking diverse contributors to join our Advisory Panel, including:

    • NDIS Participants
    • Paid Carers and Support Workers
    • Family Carers
    • Service Provider Managers
    • Support Coordinators/Community Visitors

    Your lived experience, insights, and expertise will provide invaluable feedback to shape services that make a lasting difference.

      What will the Panel do?

      As a member of the panel, you will:

      • Attend regular meetings (quarterly) to share your perspectives.
      • Provide advice and feedback on services, initiatives, and projects.
      • Collaborate with others to ensure solutions are inclusive and practical.
      • Help ensure that the voices of participants, families, and carers are always at the centre of what we do.

            How long will membership last?

            Membership on the advisory panel will initially last for 12 months, with the possibility to renew depending on your interest, availability, and the needs of the panel.

            What type of work will members of the panel be involved in?

            Advisory panel members will:

            • Attend regular meetings (monthly or quarterly).
            • Provide advice and feedback on Insight PBS services, initiatives, and projects.
            • Share experiences and ideas to improve accessibility and quality of service delivery.
            • Review materials, processes, and proposals to ensure they align with participant needs.
            • Collaborate on specific focus areas, such as improving communication or participant experiences.
            Will Insight PBS provide support to participate?

            Yes, Insight PBS is committed to ensuring the panel is inclusive and accessible. We can provide:

            • Flexible meeting formats (e.g., virtual or in-person).
            • Accessibility support, such as interpreters or assistance with technology.
            • Relevant materials and resources in advance of meetings.
              Please let us know about any specific needs you may have, and we’ll work with you to accommodate them.
            What will happen after I register my interest?

            After submitting your expression of interest:

            1. You’ll receive a confirmation email acknowledging your submission.
            2. Our team will review all applications carefully to ensure a diverse and inclusive panel.
            3. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted to discuss next steps.
            4. Successful applicants will be invited to attend the inaugural meeting where we’ll introduce the panel’s purpose, structure, and upcoming initiatives.
