Quality & Compliance Officer
Keep our NDIS registration, quality standards and restrictive practice obligations watertight. You'll work directly with our Quality & Compliance Manager on audit readiness, incident reporting and continuous improvement. You'll be the rock that lets our practitioners practise with confidence across four states.

Direct line to decision-makers
You report straight to the Quality & Compliance Manager and liaise with clinical leadership across the business. Your findings and improvement suggestions land with the people who can act on them.

The role
What you'll do, and who we're looking for
Your responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor compliance tracking systems, identifying risks and areas of non-compliance for escalation.
- Undertake internal audits: preparing evidence, conducting checks against standards, documenting findings and referring issues to the Q&C Manager.
- Support preparation for external audits and assessments: organising evidence, ensuring documentation readiness, and following up on audit outcomes.
- Assist with reviewing and enhancing quality systems, policies, procedures and workflows, recommending improvements within scope.
- Support the Q&C Manager in delivering guidance, advice and training to staff on policies, processes and systems.
- Assist with monitoring incident management reports and preparing NDIS Commission reports, ensuring timeliness and accuracy with reportable incident requirements.
- Support the auditing and monitoring of safeguarding matters in line with organisational policy and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clinical leadership and internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and maintain compliance systems.
About you
You don't need to tick every box. We value potential and alignment. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a personable and caring demeanour.
- A sound understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and standards, ideally the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and the NDIS Act 2013.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with strong planning and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and comfort learning new software.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a fully connected remote-first team.
- Ability to collect and analyse data for reporting purposes.
- Experience in a regulatory context, including exposure to auditing and compliance in allied health settings.
- ISO 19011:2018 certification or Diploma of Quality Auditing (desirable).
- Prior NDIA experience is highly regarded.
How success is measured
- Scheduled internal audits and quality activities completed to agreed timeframes and standards.
- Timely, accurate submission of NDIS reportable incidents.
- Audit-ready documentation and compliance registers, with no adverse findings in internal or external NDIS audits.
- Effective identification and escalation of safeguarding matters and compliance risks.
